The Skill Centre

In 1997, the WIL Skill Centre Corporation was founded with the purchase and renovation of a former department store in downtown London.  The Skill Centre’s business model incorporated not-for-profit tenants serving a diversity of employment and learning needs in our community, and a national retail tenant under one roof.

The Skill Centre’s focus has always been about bringing people and jobs together.  In addition to WIL, current non-profit tenants include Youth Opportunities Unlimited (YOU), ATN Access Inc., Daya Counselling Centre and the Skill Centre Child Care.

The Skill Centre also serves as a popular downtown community meeting space.  A large conference room (with kitchen facilities and a rooftop patio), and 3 boardrooms are available for rent.
