New Peer-2-Peer Program

The Access Centre for Regulated Employment will launch a new Peer-2-Peer (P2P) program for internationally trained Engineers on Friday March 12, 2010. This pilot program, the first to be delivered in a group format, will assist engineers from a variety of backgrounds in gaining further insight, knowledge and support about the licensure process.

The program will be delivered and moderated by Mr. Rafael Barros, P.Eng., who will share his own experience and practical knowledge about achieving  licensure in Ontario.  Specifically, participants will benefit from learning more about the documentation, experience records, interviews, examinations, and references required.  The program will also provide relevant and necessary information about the appeals process.

It is hoped that this pilot will be the first in an ongoing series of P2P sessions for Engineers at the Access Centre.  If successful, the Access Centre also hopes to expand P2P programming to other regulated professions in the future.

For more information or to register, please contact the Access Centre at 519.858.2348 or email infoataccesscentre [dot] ca .
