Overview
WIL Employment Connections (WIL) is seeking proposals from experienced web design/development firms to replace the current WIL website. Critically important to the website is the capacity for ongoing user-friendly management by non-technical staff responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and content management.
Reporting directly to the Team Leader, the Employment Advisor is responsible for working with clients individually and / or in group format (in person or virtually) to deliver employment orientation, job search strategy theory and support services relating to Vocational Assessments, pre-employment services, job- occupation specific training, Employment Preparation Workshops, and networking events.
Reporting directly to the Team Leader, the Employment Counsellor is responsible for assisting clients to move towards successful employment through the provision of appropriate guidance, advocacy, and motivation. Working with clients individually and / or in group format (in person or virtually) the Employment Counsellor assesses employment potential, transferable skills, identify employment goals and develop employment action plan.
Reporting directly to the Client Services Manager, the Team Leader will provide day-to-day supervisory support to a team of Employment Advisors, coordinate client service delivery and develop, build and maintain employer relationships to connect graduates of WIL’s programs with local employers.
