The Age-Friendly London Network (AFLN) Civic Participation and Employment group is looking to better support the mature worker in London. For various reasons, many of them are choosing to work beyond retirement. The goal of this questionnaire is to collect more information regarding the mature job seeker, and his/her past or current experiences looking for employment. AFLN hopes to use the information from the survey to provide mature adults with the better tools they need to navigate the work force, and better employment services.

The Board of Directors of WIL Employment Connections is pleased to announce the appointment of Margarita Sanchez Leon to the Board.  Ms. Sanchez Leon comes with a variety of experiences working with internationally trained professionals both as a volunteer and as a Human Resource Manager.  As an immigrant to Canada, Ms. Sanchez Leon has personal experience with the joys and challenges of establishing a career in a new country.  The Board of Directors looks forward to the expertise and experience that she will bring.
