The Internationally Trained Worker Loan Program provides ITWs (residing in southwestern Ontario) access to the funds necessary to achieve foreign credential recognition and employment outcomes commensurate with their international education, skills and experience. Loans operate as a flexible line of credit to assist ITWs in covering the direct and indirect costs related to foreign credential recognition, including:
- Qualification assessment
- Exam and Licensure fees
- Tuition fees for training and skills upgrading

The Government of Canada has announced that WIL Employment Connections is one of the first organizations selected under the Foreign Credential Recognition Loans Pilot Program. The announcement was made by Dr. Kellie Leitch, Parliamentary Secretary to the Honourable Diane Finley, Minister of Human Resources and Skills Development in St. Thomas, Ontario on February 22, 2012.
The London Middlesex Immigrant Employment Council (LMIEC) has been recognized by the Economic Developers Council of Ontario for excellence in Workforce Development.
