"I am very grateful for all the time, dedication and interest provided by WIL's staff to help improve my job search. This has truly given me new hope towards achieving my career goals!"
ClothingWorks is a not for profit organization (sponsored by WIL) that provides interview clothing free of charge for men, women and young adults who have a referral from a London employment counselling or training agency.
ClothingWorks serves over 750 customers annually through community partnerships with more than 100 London area employment-assistance agencies and organizations. Customers are provided with a personalized shopping experience in a retail-like environment.
ClothingWorks' goal is to provide customers with 3 outfits in total – one full suit for their job interview (a conservative blue/black suit and white shirt/blouse) and two outfits comprised of separates (one shirt, one pair of pants/skirt) and one of each accessory (hat, gloves, coat, umbrella, shoes/work boots, pantyhose, jewelry, cosmetics, sweater) depending on the season. Stock in both men’s and women’s stores are rotated seasonally to best serve customer's needs.
The ClothingWorks store is located in the basement of The Skill Centre (141 Dundas St).
