"I am very grateful for all the time, dedication and interest provided by WIL's staff to help improve my job search. This has truly given me new hope towards achieving my career goals!"

Almost all jobs require a minimum education of Grade 12 or an equivalent.
The General Educational Development (GED) testing program allows adults who have not finished high school to show that they have acquired the knowledge and skills associated with, and comparable to, high school completion. To earn the Ontario High School Equivalency Certificate candidates must write and pass a Ministry exam.
WIL offers a General Educational Development (GED) Assessment (a 3 to 5 hour test to evaluate an individual's readiness to write the Ministry GED Exam). Testing includes a follow-up consultation to discuss individual results and make follow-up recommendations.
Individuals who require educational upgrading before writing the Ministry Exam can enroll in WIL's GED Preparation program - a 1 to 6 month computer-based program that offers customized curriculum based on your GED Assessment results. WIL also provides practice testing and assistance in registering for the Ministry exam.
97 per cent of participants recommended to write the Ministry exam pass and receive their Ontario High School Equivalency Certificate. Start at any time and work at your own pace.
