"WIL did a great job. They really helped me understand how the labour market works. Thank you!"
The following workshops can be taken in conjunction with WIL's 2-day Career Possibilities Workshop:
Personality Dimensions® - This interactive, ½ day group workshop will assess what “COLOR” your personality is. It is designed to give you insight into the important role personality plays when choosing a career.
Uncover Your Skills – This ½ day session consists of a computerized assessment designed to help you identify, develop and market your transferable skills. The report helps to clarify the skills that are portable across occupations, industries and job functions. Identification of skills will help you manage career transitions, prepare for change and increase your employability by developing skills most desired by employers.
Discover Your Abilities – This ½ day session consists of two computer-based assessments designed to help you uncover your natural talents, workplace interests and preferred learning styles. Having an understanding of your abilities will assist you in choosing a meaningful and realistic career goal. Components include an aptitude and interest inventory as well as a multiple intelligence survey.
Get the Facts – This ½ day session is designed to help you find current labour market information and start researching some of the careers and training programs you are considering. Using suggested websites, it will help you make an “informed” decision about your career direction.
Chart your Course – * Get the Facts is a pre-requisite to this session. This ½ day session is designed for those who have already done some research and are ready to put together a plan to move forward with their career goals. Whether you have decided on getting your GED, enrolling in a full-time training program or going straight to job search, this workshop will help you outline what is necessary to get you into action.
