Skilled Immigrant Loan Program
The Skilled Immigrant Loan Program provides loans to internationally trained individuals in London and southwestern Ontario. These loans assist skilled immigrants in obtaining the training and/or certification assessment required to qualify for employment in their chosen field.
Applicants who meet program criteria are recommended to Libro Financial Services by WIL Employment Connections. Eligible applicants:
- have the education, skills and experience in their chosen occupation to qualify for employment in that field after short term training or certification
- have the language skills necessary to gain employment in their selected field
- are highly motivated to succeed
Applicants may request up to $5,000. Approved loans cover costs of training and/or certification assessment that meet specific program criteria.
