Volunteer Work Placements
Graduates of WIL's Employment Preparation program are eligible to participate in our 8-week Volunteer Work Experience Program. This highly successful program provides immigrants and newcomers with valuable Canadian work experience, further knowledge of Canadian business culture, and greater ability to form networks in their profession.
WIL has established ongoing working relationships with hundreds of local employers who have hosted volunteer work placements and/or hired WIL's clientele. WIL's Employment Advisors work with clients to identify potential opportunities for placement, research local companies and connect with local employers who may be willing to participate. Graduates are expected to actively participate in securing placements.
